On 24 November 2025, representatives of EDIH-NWACB from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vratsa, Automotive Cluster Bulgaria, and Cleantech Bulgaria took part in the joint Demonstration Day of the network of European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) in Bulgaria. The event was held in the "Vitosha" hall of the Marinela Hotel in Sofia and was jointly organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, with the support of the Digital Europe Programme and PNIIDIT 2021–2027.
The participation of the EDIH-NWACB team focused on active networking, presenting the hub’s services, and exchanging best practices with other EDIHs in the country. The forum provided opportunities for dialogue with experts from AgroHub.BG, EDIH Trakia, the Construction Sector EDIH, and EDIH Zagore, as well as for discussing future collaborations in support of SME digitalisation.
The event programme included panels dedicated to supporting the digital transformation of clients during the 2023–2025 period and the added value of EDIHs in the context of the EU’s Artificial Intelligence Implementation Strategy. Representatives of the European Commission presented key guidance on AI and the role of the hubs as intermediaries between business and innovation.
The event concluded with a networking session, during which the EDIH-NWACB team held discussions with potential partners, technology providers, and representatives of other hubs, aiming to expand its network and strengthen the hub’s visibility at national level.
