On September 11, at the “John Atanasoff” Innovation Forum, Architect Lyubomir Stanislavov was among the speakers at Robotics Strategy Forum 2025, organized by PARAi – Professional Association of Robotics, Automation and Innovations. He presented the role of robotics in the development of the automotive industry and shared how Automotive Cluster Bulgaria and EDIH-NWACB – European Digital Innovation Hub Northwest support companies in their transformation toward Industry 4.0.

Some of the technological trends discussed were:

  • Collaborative robots (cobots) – work together with humans, increasing flexibility and safety in manufacturing processes.

  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning – enable robots to adapt and autonomously optimize production lines.

  • Sustainable manufacturing – robotization helps achieve production with lower energy and material consumption.

The event emphasized that the widespread adoption of robotics is key for competitiveness and innovation in the global automotive industry. Through the involvement of EDIH-NWACB, regional companies gain access to expert knowledge, good practices, and innovative solutions that help implement robotics and modern technologies into real production processes.
