We are proud to announce the launch of the project “European Digital Innovation Hub – Northwest Automotive Cluster Bulgaria (EDIH-NWACB)”. The project is co-funded by the European Union, under the “Program for Research, Innovation, and Digitalization for Smart Transformation (PRIDST) 2021-2027”, which aims to accelerate the digital and green transformation of the automotive sector. The promotional name of the project is “Automotive & Mobility EDIH Bulgaria”.
Over the next 36 months the project will provide opportunities for regional small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for innovative training, practical services for “testing before investing” (TBI), access to financing and development of digital competencies. The main goal is to enhance the competitiveness and sustainable development of the sector through the introduction of the most state-of-the-art technologies and the Industry 4.0 principles.
Project partners are leading sectoral organizations and the academic community, including Association Automotive cluster Bulgaria”, Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Vratsa, Cleantech Bulgaria, Intelligent Security Systems, "Digital Innovation Hub – Northwest at Automotive Cluster Bulgaria" Association, Ruse University “Angel Kunchev” and "Digital Innovation Hub – Northwest at Automotive Cluster Bulgaria" Association.
The project will contribute significantly to the positioning of the Northwest region as a center for innovations and sustainable development in the automobile industry on a national and European level.
